Selena did announce in an interview that she will not be giving up Music. She had indeed said she had recorded over 20 songs while putting together 'Stars Dance'.
Selena Said:
The Next Chapter in music will be a little different.. um for me that will be my uh not really tell all but it will be my side i think. I would like to get more into that because i like being real with my audience, i do i like being honest with them.
Selena Also said:
It will be good though because i'm at the age where it will be uh, it'll, i'm able to be more comfortable in my skin to accept some of the things cause its not good when i'm starting at 15 on my first record and not even being able to experience life. I had 4 number 1 club songs and i'd never been to a club before when that happened. To have no experience its hard to sing about the truth, so i was able to experience a lot the past couple of years and even past surpass this record i've experienced so much, so it will be really good for me to be able to hone into that.
